The Tablet PC Mania Of 2011

Just go back at least 5 years ago, and the concept of the tablet PC seems to be coming from a science fiction novel. But today, we see tablet PC’s almost everywhere and companies and consumers are now creating a trend when it comes to the interest for this gizmo. And as far as computer manufacturers are concerned, as long as people want it, they’ll make it.

Apple is in the very lead with their popular iPad followed by a whole list of aspiring companies attempting to be at least equal to the dominating tablet PC brand in the market today. RIM and Motorola has released their own tablets and the list just keeps going longer. Despite of the tablet PC craze, many people are still into laptop computers than touch screen tablet PCs.

Laptop insurance in the UK continues to be very popular and this indirectly points to one fact; people are still buying their laptops out there. Laptop insurance starts at only £2.99 a month and you can already cover your laptop computer against theft, accidental damages and liquid damages with International cover as well. Owning a tablet PC is cool; however nothing can completely replace the feeling of using the traditional laptop we have been so used to.

The latest Microsoft operating system has many people wondering why they should make the switch. While it has some of the same features as Windows Vista, there are a few more that could entice a consumer to purchase it.

Here is the Windows 7 Overview:

* Has touch screen capability
* Easily performs screen splitting
* Better user-interface in regards to prompts
* Better visual appearance for tool bar
* Easier to set up a home network

While many people can buy additional software programs to accomplish some of these tasks, most people prefer that it is built into their operating system. Upgrading to Windows 7 is ideal for those that want to have the latest features or that are running a business.

If you purchase a laptop with Windows 7 built-in or if you add it on, you should think about protecting your computer with laptop insurance. Having to come up with the money to completely replace your laptop is an expensive that you can live without.
